Shipaotai Park
This fortress was built in 1879 to guard the harbour. It was built with granite and still strang after79年作為海防建築。
140 years. The cannon is a replica. The fort was used more often as a prison.

Chaozhou Hanwengong Temple
Built to commemorate Hanwengong, a minister demoted to be the perfecture chief of Chaozhou for 8 monthsin
in 819 CE. He promoted education in Chaozhou and was much venerated by the people. This temple was
built in 1189.

A bridge on Hanjiang, famous for its 18 floating platforms and 24 piers. The floating platforms were used

The earliest record about this temple was in 1043. Presently, it occupies an area of about 20,000 sq meters. The
structure was restured in 1985.

Nan Ao Island
This is a summer vacation paradise. There are modern hotels along the shore and vacation home up
in the hills. It is connected to the mainland by a 11 km bridge.
